Covid-19

COVID-19 Update – March 16, 2020

On March 15, 2020, the Governor of Puerto Rico issued Executive Order 2020-023 enacting a citizens’ curfew from 9:00 p.m through 5:00 a.m., a complete shutdown of commercial activities, and a partial shutdown of non-essential government activities from 6:00 p.m. March 15 through March 30, 2020.  These mandates include certain exceptions.

The Centers for Decease Control (“CDC”) is reviewing guidance to try to curtail the spread of the Covid-19 on a continuing basis, including social distancing, and calling for cancelling all events of 50 or more people. Today, the President of the Unites States announced new guidelines advising to avoid groups of more than 10.

In compliance with the mandatory lock down imposed in Puerto Rico and following social distancing recommendations to address the spread of COVID 19, we have made the decision to suspend operations in our offices until March 30, but all our members and staff will be working remotely.
