Ms. Donna A. Maldonado Rivera is a Special Counsel at Nolla, Palou & Casellas, LLC.
Ms. Maldonado concentrates in general civil and commercial litigation, and has ample trial practice experience in collection proceedings, construction defects cases and tort actions, with emphasis on slip and fall cases and personal injury.
She is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Puerto Rico, the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit and the United States Court for the District of Puerto Rico since 2002. Ms. Maldonado is also a Public Notary.
Prior to joining Nolla, Palou & Casellas, LLC, Ms. Maldonado was an attorney at the law firm of García & Fernández for ten (10) years, where she represented a myriad of private and government clients in civil and administrative matters, including, but not limited to litigation, appeals, negotiations, drafting of contracts, business and contractual disputes, and labor and employment law litigation.
She obtained her undergraduate degree Cum Laude in Labor Relations from the University of Puerto Rico. Ms. Maldonado also graduated with a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Puerto Rico, School of Law.
Ms. Maldonado is a member of the Puerto Rico Bar Association.
