Raquel Santos Ramos is an Associate of Nolla, Palou & Casellas, LLC.
Ms. Santos currently represents clients in the areas of banking, finance, corporate law and civil litigation. She is actively involved in structuring and developing the documentation necessary to perfect loans, as well as the liens and guaranties required to secure them.
Ms. Santos Ramos practice has been focused in commercial lending, personal security devices and mortgage backed lending and corporate law. She also practices general civil litigation, specifically in breach of contract, collection cases and matters before the Puerto Rico Department of Consumer Affairs (DACO).
Prior to joining Nolla, Palou & Casellas, LLC, Ms. Santos Ramos worked with transactional work related to commercial credit, mortgage loans, and structuring of financing, contracts for several financial institutions. She also worked with administrative proceedings at one Financial Institution.
Ms. Santos Ramos obtained a Bachelor Arts in Economics from Boston University and a Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Puerto Rico, School Of Law. She is a member of the Puerto Rico Bar Association.
Ms. Santos Ramos did a Judicial Clerkship at the Pima Country Superior Court in Tucson, Arizona while studying a semester of law at the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law.
