Maylin Marrero Santos is an Associate of Nolla, Palou & Casellas, LLC.
Ms. Marrero Santos’ areas of practice include corporate law, civil and commercial litigation, and management labor relations and employment law. She is experienced in intellectual property, collections, breach of contract, tort actions, and dealers and distributors’ rights. She is also a registered public notary in Puerto Rico.
She is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit, and the United States District Court for the District of Puerto Rico.
Prior to joining Nolla, Palou & Casellas, LLC, Ms. Marrero Santos practiced for approximately two years, corporate and administrative law, and civil and commercial litigation with the Rivera Aspinall, Garriga & Fernandini law offices, where she was an associate.
She served approximately four years as a Legal Assistant at Caribe General Electric, where she assisted in trial preparation, arbitration, mediation and labor relations issues. Prior to her legal career, Ms. Marrero Santos occupied several management positions in the food and beverage and bookstore companies.
Ms. Marrero Santos is an alumnus from an Arbitration program from the National Constitution Center. Also, in addition of being fluent in the English and Spanish languages, she is knowledgeable in French and Latin.
Ms. Marrero Santos obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Comparative Literature cum laude from the University of Puerto Rico in San Juan, a Juris Doctor cum laude from the Inter American University of Puerto Rico School of Law, and a Master of Linguistics suma cum laude from the University of Puerto Rico
